Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum has reportedly been given a temporary restraining order by Indiana Pacers forward Paul George.

The restraining order comes after, according to representatives of George, McCollum had repeatedly tried to slip into his DMs in an effort to lure him to Portland. McCollum has attempted to slip into George’s private Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Grindr DMs since going public with his desires.

McCollum went public with his assertion that George should become a member of the Trail Blazers just over a week ago. McCollum asserted that Portland was the best landing spot for the future of his career and multiple teammates were willing to make sacrifices in order to make it happen.

“We’ve come to learn over the past week that those sacrifices Mr. McCollum has alluded to publicly are nothing more than the ramblings of a stalker,” stated a member of George’s legal team. “We’ve issued a temporary restraining order in the hopes that Mr. McCollum’s emotions will calm down and that he’ll latch himself onto another NBA player. We suggest either Gordon Hayward or Serge Ibaka. Heck, maybe even Nerlens Noel if he’s that desperate.”

The member of George’s legal team stated that the restraining order will last up to 30 days with an option to renew indefinitely. The team stated George has no ill-will toward McCollum’s for his actions but stated that “the persistent deletion and creation of new Grindr profiles was a bit too much for him to handle.”

Spor Repor reached out for a comment from CJ McCollum regarding this restraining order but representatives for the player declined to comment.
